Project: Custom Exterior Surfboard Building Signs
Located just a couple blocks from the beach in Carlsbad, CA is Pacific Coast Construction. We received a call from them to design and install 2 custom signs, cut in the shape of a surfboard, outside their building. You can see an example of one of the signs in the image above.
Custom signs like these are a great way to distinctly brand your business and help your logo and name stand out amongst your competition. For a company located down by the beach, a surf board makes a lot of sense and ties in perfectly with the area. The PVC material we use for custom signs like these come in a rainbow of colors, and can be cut to virtually any shape. Call us today for ideas on creating a custom sign for your business.
Installation: We designed custom graphics with a realistic wood grain background to give it that authentic old school surfboard feel. We printed, then laminated, the graphics onto the surfboard shape sign which was cut from premium cast vinyl. One sign was 24" x 72" and the other 22" x 60". One went above the front door, and the other went on the side of the building.
Challenge: The project was pretty straight forward. One thing that required extra attention was the mounting process, where we had to drill though a concrete wall and make sure to secure the signs properly.
