Custom Prints on Glass
We go above and beyond to ensure that you are satisfied with our printing quality. Glass is a material that is widely used as a contemporary medium for decorative as well as functional purposes. Hence, custom glass printed pictures are a beautiful gift, whether as a birthday present, or an anniversary present.
Traditional Glass Printing
Traditional glass printing was achieved by screen printing, where a stencil and mesh screen would be used. The ink is spread across the stencil and then ‘fired’ to adhere to the glass surface. However, screen printing is expensive and is limited to only four colors at a time.
Digital UV-Curable Printing and Digital Ceramic Printing
Nowadays, custom glass prints are typically done by two methods, UV-curable printing, and digital ceramic printing. Digital ceramic printing fuses color pigments into the glass, making it an integral part of the glass itself.
On the other hand, digital UV-curable printing uses organic ink, and dries the ink on the glass surface by using ultraviolet light. We print our custom glass gifts with our Oce Arizona flatbed printer, which uses digital UV-curable printing. This method is fast and economical, providing high-quality, customizable images on any glass surface.
