UV printing utilizes a photochemical process called UV curing to dry the ink almost instantly. It makes use of LED or mercury lights for the drying process instead of heat which is used in traditional printing methods.
The solvent inks used in traditional printing can release harmful volatile organic compounds (VOC’s). When heat is applied, the fumes evaporate and are released into the atmosphere. The ink takes some time to dry, which is why a slight touch can smudge the print.

Obtained from WebPress, LLC, this model contains a Universal Printing Module (UPM), which is a compact web-fed offset printing unit that can print a single color on both sides of the paper. Since the web press prints on glossy paper, you can expect high-speed and high-quality printing.
