Written by Don Conklin...Here at Pinnacle Custom Signs we truly love our customers, and want to make sure that we deliver what they need.  That has taken many forms: from creative design to fit a sign or vehicle graphic into a specific budget, doing short turnaround time for a project, or working with a customer from the beginning to the end of a big job. This week we had an opportunity to help our one of our top customers, Ivy Springs Manor, in a way that hadn’t crossed our minds before.  Ivy Springs Manor is an Assisted living and Memory Care facility under construction in Buford, GA and is slated to open on May 3^rd of this year.  We have done many signs, banners and promotional items for them over the past few months.  The executive director of  the facility, Courtney Legg, has also joined us on many networking outings and is part of a few of our groups.  We have gotten to know her well over the past few months, and consider her as a good friend and a great customer. In order to drive occupancy in the facility, Courtney and her team have scheduled several events each week, each with a different theme, in order to bring in traffic.  On Tuesday mornings, they serve donuts, and have waffles on Wednesdays.  They also . have "Hamburger and Hard Hat" tours on Thursdays. This past Thursday morning, I got a call from Courtney.  One of her team members had an emergency and wouldn’t be able to grill out for her tour and she asked if I would be willing to help.  I checked my job description and and didn't see flipping burgers on it.  But, I did see helping our customers was there, so I told Courtney I would be out there to help.  We set up tents and tables, and fired up the grill.  In the 2 hour session, she ran several tours as I cooked many a burger.  It felt good to help out in a pinch and I was glad to do it for the Ivy Springs Manor team.
