Our mission is to help businesses make more money by becoming more visible to their customers. A terrific opportunity to help out a local business came our way in late December.

We needed to rent a trailer in order to transport signs to a customer location to be installed. In doing so, Don went to
Stor-Your-Stuf in Flowery Branch and struck up a conversation with the owner, David Rethelford. David's exterior sign was a 4 ft. by 6 ft. light box that was mounted two feet below street level, and was very difficult for passing motorists to see. To compound this, there were several additional banners on the property, which also made his primary sign difficult to see.
Out team worked with David to design a new monument sign that would really point out his location. David wanted to keep the light box in order to make the sign more visible to passersby in the dark. Since this was not permitted by the sign ordinances in the area, we had to see if we could get the waiver that David had for the current sign grand-fathered to allow keeping a lighted cabinet in his new monument sign.

The new monument sign will be elevated such that the bottom will be level with the street and extend to eight feet in height so that it really stands out as people pass their business. Because he will be able to keep the lighted box with the same dimensions he had before, he can continue to advertise his specials as his need change, and the overall look to the entrance way will be a more professional look than it is currently.
Our goal is to have the sign up in late February/early March so that David's business gains more visibility. We will add more pictures to this post when the job has been completed, so stay tuned....
