DTLA Design worked with an Orange County client who recently bought a multi-million-dollar home. The family needed to have interior décor put together for two boys’ bedrooms. These youngsters were sports fans, and the designer envisioned sports wall murals for each bedroom.
The trick was to find images that would depict sports venues in the highest resolution possible. Moreover, the murals had to be positioned in such a way that the bedroom furnishings would not cover up the crucial elements of the graphics. We selected a set of images and reproduced them on 3M vinyl with a matte laminate.
Doing so makes the material easy to clean simply by wiping it off. This setup prevents the buildup of fingerprints and the typical wear wallpaper usually displays. The family’s sons now have two individualized bedrooms with fantastic graphics that are as visually attractive as they are suitable for youths.
