The Indian Wells Tennis Garden (IWTG) is a Southern California premier facility. It opened its doors in 2000 and featured a stadium with 16,100 seats and a generously apportioned food court. A second stadium opened in 2014. Practice courts make it a go-to location for anyone wanting to learn the game. Because of its inexorable link with the BNP Paribas Open, there is now a new push to add innovative dining experiences for guests and attendees. One famous L.A. eatery that is part of the experience is Cassell’s Hamburgers, which currently operates at 3600 West 6th Street in Los Angeles.
The design companies in charge of outfitting the IWTG facilities with visually aesthetic hospitality locales are Kruse Designs and Coastline Designs. Their management team contacted Superior Signs and Graphics to act as a subcontractor for handling the graphics and signage manufacturing and installation. To start out, we worked on the wall murals for restaurants in Los Angeles identifying the Cassell’s Hamburgers location.
Our technicians did four different wall wraps. They highlight the company’s commitment to producing a burger that is different from what now passes as fast-food fare by using only quality premium beef that is ground in-house. This particular project also involves window die cut logos as well as a logo right above the order area, once contractors install this section. When completed, the iconic L.A. eatery will see its brand linked with the IWTG and BNP Paribas Open.
How Wall Murals Transform a Space
Typically, eateries cover their walls with tiles or paint. Both make cleaning a snap and offer a neat appearance. But the problem arises when neither look adds much to the brand message of the restaurant. The latter is of particular importance when doing business in a smaller venue with competitors nearby. In these settings, it is crucial to set apart your company from those that are around you. Because you only have a few seconds to make that great first impression, opt for wall graphics that convey your differences at a glance.
Although you could choose to put up decorative touches, these take too long to make an impression. Another reason for displaying wall graphics in the hospitality industry is the ease with which you can change them as needed. For example, you might consider adding seasonal touches or introducing new products. In a setting where special events are going on, the opportunity to advertise with temporary graphics alongside the murals is ideally suited to gear messages toward the audiences present.
