To ensure that we would have a good surface to work with, we carefully removed the remaining decals as well as the bits and pieces that had not yet fallen off. Next, we cleaned the surfaces that would display the new graphics.
In the meantime, our graphic artists finished the production of the decals. They redid the images and printed them on 3M calendared vinyl. Next, they added a 3M UV protection laminate. This brand is a little more expensive than other vinyl films, but the manufacturer rates the products for a five-year outdoor use duration. It is fair to say that 3M is at the top of the list of vinyl makers. Finally, our technicians installed the new decals.
These graphics breathe new life into the brand message the company sends with its mobile marketing. Granted, the client paid a little more, but the business will get more than double the useful life out of the product – at far less than double the cost. That is a good investment.
