User experience is looked at by Google’s system called Core Web Vitals (CWVs). This evaluation then affects ranking signals. In this regard, improving user experience will improve web page rankings on the search engine results page. Google uses three main points to measure this:

  1. Loading Speed
  2. Responsiveness and Interactivity
  3. Visual Stability

Mobile-friendliness, HTTPS, and safe browsing are a few of the other vitals that Google uses. CWVs are another part of Google’s user-centric initiative. When a user inputs a search query, Google wants to provide the best results. The web pages that are considered the best fulfill Google’s ranking requirements. Among those requirements are page speed and responsiveness.

We’ve talked about the importance of page speed and user experience. Although they are part of the equation, they are not the only factors. To improve rankings, you must incorporate other factors in Google’s helpful content algorithm. We share a quote from Google that explains that experience is important, but the overall information is more important. As of right now, quality content reigns supreme. Content is important, but you don’t want to ignore page experience. The key takeaway is that content is still the top factor, but page speed and user experience still play a big role in visibility and SEO for your web page.
