SECRET SHOPPING | Shopping Has Its Rewards!

More and more of our customers are adding not-so-secret shops to their schedules.  What’s a not-so -secret shop? In the most basic sense, secret shops are usually conducted by an individual who never reveals themselves to the employee being shopped.  This allows the shopper to conduct a truly candid evaluation, without having to confront the employee being shopped.

A not-so-secret shop starts out the same way as a “normal” secret shop, but if the employee being observed successfully completes a series of tasks, they are rewarded immediately on the spot.  One employer awards $100, another movie tickets.  It’s not so much the award, but the instant recognition of a job well done that makes the impact.

It’s a win-win for everyone involved.  The shopper receives the satisfaction of being able to give out some positive recognition, and the employee is the recipient of immediate positive feedback.
