A pipe burst in a local church last week, flooding the majority of the building and sanctuary.  The water damage was extensive, and the pastor was out of town when it happened!  Fortunately, his team knew to call STOP Restoration of Albuquerque immediately upon discovering the flood. The STOP team arrived to the church quickly to begin setting equipment to dry the structure.  Dry out took several days, as many rooms needed attention.  Carpets and vinyl flooring needed to be removed to dry out the sub-flooring.  Sections of drywall and cabinetry needed to be taken down.  The structure is now dry, but mold was detected and will need to be cleaned out this week.  As soon as we know the extent of the presence of mold, we will begin carefully cleaning it out, to preserve the health of the church and their congregation.
