Last week, we discussed a loss STOP Restoration handled with a refrigerated air unit causing water to seep into an apartment closet.  This week, we have a similar problem with another HVAC unit.  Swamp coolers and refrigerated air units are common sources of water damage to homes and apartments, particularly when the unit sits atop the building.  A homeowner in the Albuquerque area noticed water coming down from what appeared to be the ceiling.  Upon further inspection, it was discovered that the AC unit feed line was leaking water, and had been for quite some time.  The water had damaged the ceiling and wall, meaning drywall had to be removed in some places in order to dry out the home properly. The homeowners were referred to STOP Restoration of Albuquerque by their insurance agent.  Our staff worked diligently to ensure they were informed and satisfied every step of the way.  We made sure they understood what the water mitigation would entail and the reasons behind all steps taken to clean and dry the damage, as well as measures we took to prevent mold growth.  We also made sure they knew what every cleaning product contained and listened to their questions and concerns so that we could better serve them. In the end, their home was properly cleaned and dried, and we had two very satisfied customers on our hands.  We received a very nice notice of customer satisfaction from them that said, "Very professional team!  Thanks!"  We appreciate the accolades and we are happy to help. If you find yourself needing mitigation services, call on trusted professionals.  STOP Restoration is dedicated to serving our community.  We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for all fire, smoke, mold, water, and trauma mitigation and cleanup.  Call us today at (505) 892-3112!
