Last week, the University of New Mexico resumed classes for the Fall 2016 semester.  Unfortunately, at the same time, mold was discovered in a building on campus.  Of course, the staff at UNM knew who to call.  STOP Restoration has diligently worked to mitigate the mold in the building in a timely manner, lessening the overall impact to students and staff.  The building will soon be free to conduct classes as usual, and the mold will be no more, meaning a healthier student body and faculty.  We are very excited, as usual, to serve the university! Mold is a very serious threat to health, and it is important to make sure it doesn't grow in buildings.  It's strange, but mold is still a considerable problem for homeowners and building owners even in very arid regions like New Mexico.  Unfortunately, for building owners like the University, when your building is used daily by a large number of people, mold contamination is compounded.  More people means more opportunity for someone to become sick.  If this illness is caused by mold in the building, the building owner is liable.  Don't take the risk!  Always be sure to have an industrial hygienist inspect the property if you even suspect mold might be present.  If it is, call STOP Restoration right away to schedule your mitigation services. Our staff of technicians are IICRC certified to handle water, mold, smoke, fire, and biohazard cleanup.  We use only LEED certified green products to treat contaminated areas, preserving not only the environment, but your health as well.  We are dedicated to serving our community, as we are a locally owned franchise.  Call STOP Restoration, the Service Team of Professionals.  We are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.  We look forward to serving you in the future!  (505) 892-3112.
