Event Banner Displays Thanks

The Sign Authority will “stake” a out a welcome sign to encourage Wheaton residents to participate in the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce’s “Thanks Tons Festival” at the Illinois Institute of Technology, 201 E. Loop Road.  The event, which takes place from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, will have Chamber members bringing collected food donations to “Stuff-A-Truck” or rather to stuff many Wheaton Park District trucks. Those truckloads of food will benefit the food pantry at People’s Resource Center. The festival will have carnival games, contests, music and refreshments. Visit wheatonchamber.com for information.
