Project: Full color change on a Jeep Wrangler

Recently, our new client Leslie contacted us about changing the color of her Jeep Wrangler. Always excited to work with Jeeps, we were eager to give her information on vehicle wraps and explained all of the benefits to her. After some consideration, she decided to go with a sleek gunmetal gray color because it wasn’t nearly as loud as the original orange color of her Jeep. Leslie was a fantastic customer and she was very excited about the results.
Very soon after making the decision to go with a vehicle wrap for her Jeep, Leslie brought it in to us and we got right to work. As you can see in the images, the Jeep was painted in a classic orange shade but was a little too vibrant for the look she really wanted. The end result is a very classy gunmetal gray that still stands out beautifully, and is just a lot less loud. The gray tone of the new vinyl wrap ties in seamlessly with the black rims, making the Jeep look more monochromatic.
Since there were no graphics involved in this particular wrap, we had to be extra careful, as we always are, to be sure that there are no air pockets or creasing in the vinyl since it was all done in one solid color. First, we removed all of the detachable pieces of the vehicle so that we could wrap the doors and each separate piece individually. After stretching the vinyl to the desired shape, we adhered the wrap to the vehicle and then applied heat over it to be sure that the vinyl would stay in the exact position it was placed in as it had been stretched to fit the Jeep exactly.
Truthfully, anybody that buys a new Jeep from the dealership will most likely get to choose from a few color options. Many newer model Jeeps are painted in this vibrant orange color, so although the color is nice and eye-catching, there are a ton of Jeep owners that also drive one in the same exact color.
