Here at Black Parrot Sign Studio, one of our very own fleet vehicles is a Jeep and if you aren’t familiar with Jeep owner etiquette, we all stick together. We personally love any time a client comes to us for a vehicle wrap on their Jeep. That’s why we were excited when Rampage Off Road of Tustin, California contacted us with the opportunity to wrap one of their Jeep Wranglers for an upcoming show.
When the Jeep first came to us, everything was stripped so that we could install the new wrap piece by piece. With minimal graphics already painted on the Jeep, it was easy for us to apply the new vinyl color. The end result is a beautiful dark matte vinyl Jeep equipped with all new accessories to make it stand out at the show.
Being Jeep enthusiasts ourselves, we are excited to work with companies like Rampage Off Road because they specialize in products and services for Jeeps, as well as other trucks and SUVs. To create the vinyl graphic that we placed on the Jeep, we used the highest quality adhesive and vinyl for the wrap itself. We ensured that the entire surface of the Jeep and each part that was removed was clean and free of any debris before laying the wrap onto each part. Before the wrap is adhered, we map out where each part of the graphic is going to sit so that we can be sure there are no air pockets in the vinyl. The last step is just to trim the edges and check for any imperfections.
While simply having your vehicle painted in the desired shade you want has its advantages, we highly recommend wrapping your vehicle with vinyl even if there are no graphics attached to it. The way that a vehicle wrap is applied ensures its longevity because unlike paint, it will not chip away or rust.
