Project: Full Removal of a Bad Wrap

We were recently contacted by House of Blinds which is located in Tustin, California for a full removal of a vehicle wrap that had faded and started to peel. They had a cargo van that was in desperate need of a new wrap as the original version was no longer a positive look for their business and was no help in advertising.
As you can see in the images, the picture that covers the majority of the van had faded so much that it is hardly visible. It was hard to tell if the entire wrap had once been in full color, since it came to us looking like it was mostly black and white. The white lettering was more difficult to read as it barely stood out against the faded grey background.

First, to remove the old vehicle wrap we chose the areas that had begun to peel off over time and continued to peel by using tools such as plastic razor blades to get under the corners. We then enlisted the help of a residue remover to take off the rest so that we had an even canvas to install the new wrap. After all traces of the old wrap had been removed, we were ready to begin installing the new one. We finished the process by placing the new graphics onto the van, ensuring that the material is completely even and free of any air pockets or creases. The last step is to trim off any excess material and take a step back to admire the high definition graphics.
