There are a lot of things that the average customer would never think about before scheduling for a vehicle wrap, but they are imperative for a good vehicle wrap results and customers must be aware. If the customer was requested to wash their vehicle before their arrival for a vehicle wrap installation, so the car will be free of dust, dirt and in our case snow and salt - make sure that when the customer goes into a car wash they do not select the wax option! - as the vinyl will not stick to a waxed surrface. Find out from your car dealer if your windows of your car have anti glare, anti fog and/or anti icing treatments applied to the outside windows, as the vinyl will not adhere properly. Did the vehicle was involved in an accident prior the vehicle was to be wrapped? This will affect the surface characteristics and it will have a different adhesion than the rest of the vehicle. Is the wrap going over plastic, recycled products? All these surfaces have a different adhesion and will affect the install as well as the removal of the vinyl and it all required to be recorded to avoid surprises.
