The major and most common mistake done by inexperienced vehicle vinyl installers is to cut the perforated vinyl at the very edge of the window where the window either ends or meets the molding. This point is very critical, as if this part is not covered and / or sealed with a clear tape properly - moisture and dirt could slowly enter underneath the vinyl. The moisture will freeze in the winter and it will stretch the vinyl and separate the bond between the glass and the vinyl, and every season it will occur more and more. The proper perforated vinyl install is to cut the vinyl 1/2" before the end of the glass or away from the molding and apply a clear tape over the vinyl edge to seal it and block it from moisture and dirt entering underneath the vinyl. So make sure your vehicle graphics are installed properly by experienced graphic vehicle installer. Sign Source Solution provides for experienced graphic designers and vehicle graphic installer as a standard vehicle wrap offering.
