Tactical Gun Range Offers Rifle Shooting Courses

Shooting a rifle with precision is a skill which requires a great deal of practice, patience and the right training. Rifles require a different level of expertise and pack a bigger punch than handguns, and as such they should be treated with care and operated by people who are confident in their operation.

We offer comprehensive training for rifles with the goal of equipping people in our community with essential knowledge of how the gun operates, how to shoot it safely and how to shoot with accuracy. These courses can take place inside our state of the art facility or offsite for shooting targets at up to 1,000 yards away.

Introduction to Rifle

Our first course on rifle shooting is designed to build a foundation on which you can learn key skills. This course is for people who might have very limited experience with rifles, or maybe they haven’t shot one at all. We cover the operation of the gun and how it works, essential safety practices, how to safely load and shoot and more in this course which begins in the classroom and ends on the range.

Basic Rifle

Basic rifle training begins to explore the nuances of rifle shooting and works to improve your confidence and skills to produce accurate shots. We cover the proper way to hold the weapon, how to control your breathing when firing, how to zero in your rifle, different sight options for rifles and other essential skills, and you can expect to improve your accuracy greatly after taking the basic rifle course.

Intermediate Rifle

Our final onsite course in rifle training can help people who have a solid amount of experience shooting or have completed our first two rifle courses expand on their knowledge of shooting effectively. This course hones in on accuracy training and introduces practices to help you shoot multiple times and maintain precision, and covers shooting from multiple positions.
