We pride ourselves on sharing our passion for safe and effective firearm use, and our team of instructors is second to none. Most of our instructors have a background in either military service or law enforcement, and their real world experience shines through in their instruction.

While many people visit our facility with the goal of developing familiarity with a handgun for personal protection, we also deal with many sportsmen who embrace the hobby of rifle shooting.

Using a long gun is much different than a handgun, and even experienced marksmen with the smaller pistols can have a bit of a learning curve when they first begin to explore the world of rifles.

If you’re interested in getting started with rifle shooting, whether you’re experienced in other types of firearms or not, one of our beginner classes is the perfect space for you to learn about the intricacies of rifles.

The goals of our beginner rifle class center around building familiarity with these guns and establishing important best practices of safety. This means learning about safe storage, loading and firing of rifles.

If you don’t yet have your own rifle, not to worry. You can still sign up for the class and use one of our rental models. This is a great way to “test drive” rifle ownership and see if it’s right for you.

Some of the practical skills covered during our beginner rifle classes include recognition of how to enable the gun’s safety, loading and unloading the unique ammo which accompanies rifles and safely shooting the gun down range. Everyone strives to be an accurate shot, but this class is more about building a strong foundation which you can grow from.

The exciting thing about choosing to take our rifle classes is the chance to progress and become a better marksman. The beginner class is an essential first step, but as you progress through our upper level classes, you’ll have the chance to graduate from indoor shooting to the outdoor range and master the art of long-range shooting.
