Scottsdale, AZ – We Offer Ladies Only Gun Training Classes at Our Tactical Range

We know how important it is to be able to find your people at the range. And we also know that in a patriarchal society and a sport hobby that is mainly dominated by men, that it can be hard for women to find their people. That’s why we offer ladies only gun training classes at our gun range.

These classes are specifically designed for women to improve their skills on the range and in a practical sense. Women that seek out these classes are strong-willed and ready to learn the skills they need to be confident and safe in the world. We offer these classes not only for the learning purposes, but also to give women a safe space to support each other and find a community at the range.

Women’s Basic Pistol Course

This class focuses on the absolute basics surrounding a pistol. This class is especially great for the women in our community because when compared to men their hand shapes vary greatly. So making this class ladies-only means that our instructors can focus on the specificities that come with women handling pistols.

The topics covered in this class are the fundamentals that you need to use a pistol. This includes loading and unloading maneuvers, firing stances and grip, breath control, and pistol follow-through. We encourage everyone to start at this class because it is designed for those who have absolutely zero shooting experience. That means that even the pros on the range can beef up their fundamentals in a meaningful way.

Intermediate Pistol Operation and Handling

This class continues to build on the fundamentals that were taught in the basics class. It takes the offensive skills and begins to apply them in terms of practicality and advancement. This class will continue to expand the knowledge of its students by looking at other firearms.

Specific topics that are covered in this class include the use of a holster, the color codes of awareness, semi-automatic pistols and revolvers. At the end of this class students will be able to feel confident in their knowledge and operation of firearms as an offensive strategy.

Women’s Defensive Pistol

Our last class in the ladies-only series is focused on the defensive side of pistol operation. This is one of our most popular classes for our women community members, especially since the world seems to be consistently increasing in danger level. Students in this class will learn to use both their physical and mental defensive skills to potentially save their life.

Specific topics in this class include the Avoid, Escape, Defend mindset, knowing how to approach a conflict, loading and reloading strategies in a stressful situation, and learning to shoot from a high compressed ready position. These topics will equip you with everything needed to defend yourself in any situation, saving your life and potentially the lives of others.
