Applied Data Science and Generative AI
The generative AI curriculum wraps up with three high-level sessions. We cover Generative AI for Data Science levels 1 through 3. Nothing else in the Vedere catalog goes that deep on the subject.
Its three stages run from basic programming, statistics, and visualization, through advanced programming and statistical analysis, and into machine learning and generative AI applied in industry contexts. Outcomes include deciding when generative AI is the right tool, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and designing secure generative AI systems.

Applied Data Science and Machine Learning
You will spend most of your time mastering calculus and building predictive models. Four math courses rather than three. Machine Learning for Data Science 1 and 2. A single generative AI course rather than three.
The tradeoff is clear. Spend your energy mastering core math and building models rather than getting lost in generative AI tools. Precision pays. If you want better predictions, you have to do the heavy lifting.
Healthcare Analytics
The third program takes the same data science core and bolts on domain knowledge. Students close out their studies with The Business of Medicine and Healthcare Quality and Service Optimization. This sequence provides a solid foundation in the logistics of modern healthcare systems.
The skills health professionals need are clearly defined: a practical understanding of care model concepts, funding and reimbursement models, organizational decisions, and patient population selection and coverage, plus the ability to apply analytical and technical skills to improve quality, utilization, and operations.

How we decide
Find out where they need you. Generative AI systems, predictive modeling, or healthcare operations. Check your records for quantitative skills. These programs want to see that you have handled data in the office or the classroom. Along with that experience, you need a standard college degree. A GPA of 3.0 or better is what they usually look for.
