The oversized yellow acrylic smile on the outside of the Lutz Dental office clearly identifies the office and draws attention. Sometimes identifying your place of business is not enough. This was the case with Lutz Dental of Lutz, Florida. They were running a new patient promotion and wanted to take advantage of their exterior side yard to advertise it.
Their side yard faces a main street. Together with Premier Signs of Tampa, they created a two sided site sign and ideally positioned it so that traffic coming either direction could easily read the new sign. The large white, polymetal sign was attached to two wooden posts, set in the ground, and painted white to match. The top portion displays a greeting in large, black, vinyl capital letters. The bottom section has a white vinyl exam offer, on a red background. This simple design and high contrasting colors make the sign impossible to miss… just what they wanted.
Lutz Dental is housed in a long rectangular building that runs parallel with the street. The street facing side of the exterior brick building was the perfect backdrop for their second additional sign. This sign was a long 22ft x 24inch mesh banner. Installed below the many windows and above the hedges, it too has the red, white and black color scheme like the site sign. This time the top portion has the red background and white lettering. The bottom section is white with black lettering. Even though these are two different types of signs, the consistent colors keep a professional, cohesive look to the exterior, while still being very effective advertising.
