New Port Richey, Plant City, FL-Restaurant Channel Letters

The restaurant business is ever changing and no matter how successful your franchise is, you must keep up with the times and the competition. One such Florida restaurant franchise does just that. Jersey Mike’s continues to open new stores around central Florida and the rest of the country, and you can see the changes the retail industry makes while working with them. Premier Signs of Florida has enjoyed a great partnership with them and sees to their sign needs. Like any successful business, they know the value of consistency and quality, however they also know when to adapt. This is evident even in their signage.

Each of their newest locations has some similar and some unique needs, and having Premier Signs by their side makes each sign situation more manageable. They are never really starting from scratch, since their sign company partner already has previous specs, and color and script requirements on hand. They also use a sign medium that comes with many options. Each new location has a different outdoor building color and they pick the optimum channel letter color to go with it. Building paint colors change with color trends to keep fresh and look modern, Jersey Mike’s knows that their exterior sign colors need to contrast enough to be seen but still maintain the Jersey Mike’s look. They are lucky to have three basic name colors to choose from. The colors come from their very recognizable red, white and blue logo.

The Lutz, Florida location is in a retail center that has varying brown and tan paint tones on their exterior building walls. Jersey Mike’s chose to use white acrylic faces for their front entrance sign. It is direct mounted to the exterior wall in a straight line just above the high contrasting dark brown trim. The white letters are easily legible and gives a simple but sophisticated look on the multi toned exterior.

The locations in New Port Richey and Plant City both chose to use a raceway to help in mounting their outdoor signs. Since their business exterior walls were both painted in one main color and without such an obvious line of trim above their entrances, they chose to install part of their sign on a slight upward angle. This tilt helps capture the eye, which of course, is a plus. The very trendy blue of the Plant City location is complimented by the white letters chosen and provides good contrast. The New Port Richey location sports a light gray on their outer walls and therefore the choice of red lettering is perfect.

Channel letters are a popular sign medium and have been for many years because of their durability and adaptability. They can also be LED lit, making them a must for some locations.
