Another client, a residential subdivision, Frances Arbor, needed to update their monument sign. After coming to Premier Signs with their needs, including their wish to redesign the logo for the replacement sign, they discovered that a new design was not in the cards. Continuing on the new course, the monument sign was taken down and Premier Signs created a newly routed one for them. This routed sign was once again made out of sign foam, and routed to give the large tree image, as well as the Frances Arbor name, a dimensional look. The background was painted a dark bronze and the name and the double routed border were painted in gold . By attaching the new sign to the metal sign base, it could be installed exactly where the previous one was, on the brick monument wall.
So far an exterior business sign has been moved, and another redone, next are examples of simply removing old peeling vinyl, cleaning the surface, and placing a new vinyl sign or overlay in its place. Tampa’s new “We Got Soccer” business was moving into a building that had been previously occupied. The previous tenants left an entire store front of windows that was entirely covered with multiple vinyl signs. So, first on their list was removing those, so they too could utilize the windows. With the help of Premier Signs, that was done and a newly designed, bigger than life soccer ball image out of white vinyl took its place. It was installed floor to ceiling on the newly cleared windows, so now the precision cut, skeleton image ball, dominates the store front. It still allows light and visibility through the front windows, but definitely commands attention from passersby.
Freedom High School, one of the many Hillsborough schools that are among Premier Signs clients, also had some exterior building sign makeovers. One such project was replacing damaged exterior soffit signs that had been affixed to metal soffits stretching across various outdoor entrances. Premier Signs got to work removing the old ones, cleaning and preparing the surfaces for the new signs. New digitally printed vinyl signs were then installed bearing the name of locations associated with each entrance. The signs instantly brought life back to each entrance and enabled students and visitors to clearly identify the cafeteria entrance from the gymnasium, etc.
