Knowing exactly what and where they wanted their office sign wasn’t Growing Smiles Dental Care in Lutz, Florida’s problem, finding a sign company that wants to make it happen was.
They had been turned away by other sign companies because there were two complicated elements to their interior lobby sign order – placing it on a round office wall and a custom color palette. Premier Signs took on the challenge, starting by tackling the curved wall . Once they ruled out conventional flat signs, where the text would be applied on top, they chose individual acrylic pieces to be attached to the round wall one by one. This eliminated the curve as an installation problem.
Now for the acrylic letters, custom flower symbol, and the beautiful pastel color palette needed to replicate their logo. Normally, a color match is not a problem since acrylic letters come in a large assortment of standard colors, or they could even be “colored” by using a vinyl overlay either on the front or attached from the back, but not this time. Although vinyl also comes in a vast array of standard colors and can be PMS color matched, these colors were not included. So, relying on many years of sign experience, Premier Sign’s designers exercised some creative thinking and ingenuity to come up with a solution. The unique pastel custom selection of colors was digitally reproduced and printed on each acrylic piece.
The end result? Another satisfied Premier Signs customer. The customers in this Lutz, FL location are welcomed by the uplifting sign, complete with custom daisy, on the round accent wall upon arrival, exactly where they wanted it.
