Interior lobby wall signs and reception area signs are really multipurpose. They are not just to artistically fill a blank wall, restate the name of your business, or for reinforced branding. They do all that and more. They help establish the atmosphere of your company, and your customer’s first reaction as they enter to conduct business.

So to make it easier to get the reaction you want, connect with sign experts like the ones at Premier Signs of Tampa. Bring them your needs, wants, dimensions, and ideas, just like many of their other Tampa Bay clients. Together you, too, can get rave results. Two of the latest bare lobby walls turned custom are at Pinnacle Cardiovascular Associates of Brandon and Vargas Law of Tampa.
Pinnacle’s large empty wall was the perfect place to display their name and logo. They chose to use acrylic for their sign. Their choice of black acrylic with a brushed nickel face for their custom symbol and the title letters shows the versatility of this medium. Vast options for sizes, colors, finishes and the ability to be precision cut to make beautiful designs, is a long way from the clear, flat material that comes to mind when first mentioning acrylic. Because of this, Pinnacle was able to fill their space with varying letter sizes, that look more like metal than acrylic. They also were able to integrate their symbol between words, while keeping a clean, professional, artistic sign that is easily legible. This sign is also an example of two installation techniques.
The title word PINNACLE is given a dimensional look by a peg installation pulling the letters off the wall, while the rest of the sign is flush mounted. This dimension defines the main title and gives importance to it. These pegs can also be used to “lift” an entire sign.
Vargas Law in Tampa had a similar blank lobby wall in need. Vargas, however, chose another popular medium choice, vinyl. Having many size, color, and text options, vinyl is also a versatile medium. Vinyl can be applied to most any surface, and has the added benefit of being removed without leaving any holes or brackets. Choosing white vinyl for the darker painted wall background was a great choice because contrast allows for optimum visibility.
Because vinyl comes in endless typestyles choices, they were easily able to recreate their logo, including the scales of justice. The result is professional, yet friendly, and continues their branding. The tag line, stating their profession, leaves no doubt as to the service they provide. Illuminating this wall enhances the space giving them the desired client greeting they were looking for.
The popularity of using acrylic and vinyl for indoor lobby wall signs is not only because of their durability, adaptability, and their vast option choices but because they can be an economical alternative to many mediums. Flat, curved, recessed, large, small ,or walls that are high off the ground, can use acrylic, vinyl or a combination of the two with great results. Here are some local examples:
