We were asked to design some new signs for The Hotel Zamora and the new Rooftop bar area called 360. The rooftop is designed to give the guest a 360 view of the gulf waters on one side and surround land plus intercoastal waterway. The new bars on the new rooftop are really cool for guests to gather.
The basic sign design would be similar to the Castille restaurant on property. The aluminum sign is non-illuminated with dimensional acrylic letters. The whole sign has a raised border and recessed painted background. The main text is routed acrylic about half inch thick. In the case of smaller sign we need to paint the text on the background where the letter size is too small for dimensional acrylic letters.
The large sign shown to the left is 7′ wide. The aluminum sign can be outside and weather the elements of rain and sun.
The small signs are ideal for indoor use too! The sign acts as a directional sign as you approach the elevator. The 360 bar is a destination the guests are trying to find in the hotel. The sign is mounted to the drywall for a secure method and hidden attachment points. In other words, no screws are really visible as you approach the sign. The black background offers a good contrast to the white text.
The 360 logo piece is painted a specific PMS color to match the brand logo elements. The signage needs to be consistent with brand being developed.
