When a Home Owner Association decides to update entrance signs, they have many choices Generally, the HOA wants to have signage that meets the community look and feel. For example, an upscale gated community may have neighborhoods nearby where the first impression of the sign is important for overall property appeal. In this case, the Whitehall community had a sign that was outdated and ready for replacement. Many ways to make a wall sign or monument sign for a community entrance. In this case, aluminum letters with spacers were decided as the best fit by the HOA. The letter thickness can vary and the mounting method can be flush to the wall or stand-off about 1/2″ with a spacer. The letters are laser cut and not routed to give a clean edge and durable enough to with stand outdoor elements. The finish of the letter is anodized which means an electromagnetic process is added to harden the aluminum and allows it to be colorized. With that process it becomes abrasion and weather resistant. Besides the beautiful finish it increases hardness and durability. In Florida, the reaction of the intense sun on signs make this a good choice to allow UV protection. The aluminum finish can be painted any custom color as well to match a Pantone color for the letters. The letters are precision cut to allow even small letters to have a perfect finish.
