As an extensive remodel of an existing building, new building signs were in order. The building has a corner location with two area for building signage. The acrylic building sign would fit the logo perfect. The wall had a defined area for the sign band and with the stone feature a classy sign would just be what it needed. The colors are done with Pantone colors to get the sign to match logo identity. The acrylic is stud mounted to offer a secure method of mounting. You can see the logo elements are various thickness going to a thin swoosh. Of course, an acrylic sign like this could be interior or exterior. The external illumination works fine for this application. We could have the acrylic letters stand off from the wall to give a shadow affect, but in this case a flush mount is very sturdy and solid. When deciding whether to put an illuminated sign on a building or non-illuminated sign, the cost can be a factor as well as the building design. The acrylic is under a lifetime warranty and will crack, peel, or break with the hot sun. The material is excellent for exterior signs. Sometimes the acrylic can be more of a plaque sign. For example, the one shown here has a background and raised acrylic letters to make it unusual and serve the brand. It is great for an entrance sign to an office building or suite. The elements can be designed to include raised letters or recessed letters. This sign is exterior and should last many many years for the client.
