A project currently in progress here at Custom Sign Source is for The Lake Hopatcong Foundation. Their idea was to create a system that makes emergency response a lot quicker for those who live on the lake. Each house that enrolls in the program gets assigned a unique code, and that code is put on a sign which is then mounted on their dock, boat house, a post, or a nearby tree. If there is an emergency on the lake someone can call 9-1-1, provide the operator with the nearest dock code, and emergency response will be on the way without delay. If someone spots an emergency from their house they can call 9-1-1 and the operator will be able to associate their street address with a lake location. This system is a great new way to make Lake Hopatcong safer and an even better place to live. If you would like to know more about this project you can read about it here.
The signs themselves are 8” x 16” rectangles with rounded corners made of aluminum composite. We laid high quality vinyl on top of the sign, then laid down the reflective vinyl lettering for the unique codes. These signs and vinyl graphics are weatherproof and designed to last, to ensure the longevity of this great program. At Custom Sign Source we pride ourselves in making sure all of our products are high quality.
