But what if you’re looking for a business sign that is smaller and set closer to the ground? Then, trim caps look obtrusive at best. Precision-cut acrylic faces can be riveted to these as short as 4” high. The latest channel bending machines can produce trimless channel letters in half the time and with greater precision. Letter faces are vinyl colored or digitally printed, with flat backer panels made from acrylic or polycarbonate.
Trimless channel letters do away with the trim caps. These plastic protrusions are usually the least durable part of the channel letter. They can fade or weaken from the sun’s UV rays, and after time begin to look unsightly. A trimless channel letter panel sign also has stunning illumination characteristics.
