Normally, HIIT workouts focus on the lower body with high intensity workouts including squats and mountain climbers. However, interval training also does wonders for your upper body when it is isolated for your upper portion.

At TruHit Fitness, we offer strength-building and calorie-burning classes in our Fit Camp classes. These classes are especially designed to deliver the required results using HIIT, functional training, and circuit training.

HIIT Upper Body Workout Class

At TruHit fitness, we intensify your upper body movements by increasing how fast you do your reps and by enabling a longer workout period. We prioritize quality over quantity. So if you feel like you are getting out of the right position, we encourage you to get back in the form after taking deep breaths and resetting your position even if it means that you’ll have to slow down.

Warm-Up Before HIIT Upper Body Workout

We start with a solid warm-up by doing dynamic stretches. We make sure your warm-up stretches involve a full range of motion, especially on your shoulders, core, glutes, lats, and upper back. We also tell our members to do a few moves to get your heart rate up before your first circuit. These may involve arm circles, jumping jacks, and cat-cows.

Our Core HIIT Upper Body Workouts

Our circuit-style upper body HIIT workouts involve cardio and muscular training. You will be using your own body weight, dumbbells, your core, and upper body movements to keep your heart rate up and work it out. Our workouts are especially designed to improve your strength, energy levels, metabolic rate, and endurance.
