This was the case for a local company whose sign had started to wear after years of exposure. They not only wanted a new sign, but one which fit their brand and would offer maximum visibility. Project Overview Aerospace Testing Lab is located in South Windsor, CT, and they decided it was time for a building sign upgrade/update. The old sign looked dated, and the owners wanted a new solution which matched their company branding and easily communicated the brand name for the business. We were happy to partner with Aerospace for this project. As a local sign provider, they loved our ability to design, produce and install their new sign in-house, and were appreciative of how easy the process was from start to finish. The Solution: A Custom-Branded Illuminated Channel Letter Sign After meeting with Aerospace’s leadership and determining their goals for the project, we were able to mock up several options for their consideration. This project was unique because the sign is mounted directly to a large space on their standalone facility, so the sign had to be eye-catching and instantly identifiable. Their team decided on channel letter signs to be mounted above the main entrance in the company’s signature dark red color, along with an illuminated company logo mounted next to the company name. This project was perfect for our company because we have the resources and man-power needed to create and install this large and unique sign. Using our completely local team, we were able to move the project along quickly and stay ahead of schedule for the client’s desired install date. Important consideration was made during the design and manufacturing process to make sure we had the perfect color. Branding was important for this job, so we presented different colors to the client before we got started, including an example of what the sign would look like when it was illuminated, to make sure it was the perfect shade. Planning was key for the installation of this sign because it’s always our goal to interrupt our clients’ business as little as possible. The complex install location presented a bit of a challenge, but our team handled it with expert care. The finished product is clearly identifiable, matches company branding and will be a long-lasting solution for this great local business.
