Project Overview
Alkegen recently moved into a new office space in Glastonbury, and wanted to brand their new workplace to convey professionalism and an upscale feel.
G-Force Signs & Graphics was happy to take on this project and delivered on their vision by creating new signs for their lobby area, entry windows and conference room glass.
Alkegen’s vision was to create an upscale and tasteful feel and by adding the right signs in these three areas the office was given a completely new vibe, showing potential clients they were a stable and confident partner.
Acrylic Cut Letter Lobby Sign
The first sign to be designed would be installed in the main lobby area. The goal here was to proudly display the company logo and instill a feeling of confidence in their visitors. G-Force was able to achieve this goal by recommending a sign made of ¾” thick acrylic letters painted to match their brand guidelines.
The result was a stunning sign which catches the eye of any visitor to the lobby and since the letters are thicker, it looks like it’s jumping off the wall. The dimensional aspect of this lettering combined with the small shadows from overhead lighting give it a professional look and feel.
Entry Door Branding with Frosted Film and Logo
In this office space, the entrance has two floor to ceiling windows on either side of the door. These large windows created the perfect space to add branding and add to the upscale feel of the office. For these windows, the back surface was covered with a frosted window film with a 1” reveal around the border. This “framed” look with the frosted film gave an instant professional feel.
To complete the look, the Alkegen logo was applied to the front surface in full color, standing out proudly above the frosted glass.
Frosted window film, as used in this situation and by many other G-Force clients, is an inexpensive way to take any space with glass to the next level.
Frosted Film with Cut Logo for Conference Room Glass
The final touch for this office was making the conference room feel like a place of professional business, and to achieve this we turned once again to branding on glass. This office space has a very impressive conference room, featuring double doors and two large glass floor to ceiling windows on either side which are about as long as they are tall. For this space, a frosted horizontal stripe was used with the company logo cut out of the middle on each window, giving the conference room a great professional feel.
