Before discussing the project, let’s spare a moment to talk about the client

About Bartlett Brainard Eacott

Founded in 1921, Bartlett Brainard Eacott is a company that focuses on construction management while keeping in mind sustainability. Over the years, they have understood the significance of contributing to the industry. Moreover, they laid the foundation of Associated General Contractors of Connecticut in 1947 and the Institute for Construction at the University of Hartford.

They were also one of the first companies to encourage employees to avail training opportunities aimed at excellence in construction. Integrity, reliability, customer service and professionalism are some of the values this company stands for.

Signs Project for Bartlett Brainard Eacott

Now, let’s get down to business and talk about the project. The mission was to come up with temporary signs for a construction project for the Boys and Girls facility in Hartford, CT. Construction projects are complex and the kind of equipment used can be dangerous for people who are unaware of how it functions. Therefore, it is better that non-concerned individuals are not allowed to enter the premises.

Temporary signs for construction projects can vary. We made signs that indicated hard hat areas, entrances and exits and COVID-19 procedures that one must follow. We also made no trespassing signs and a code of conduct sign  for the neighborhood in which the project was going on.

We made sure that the signs were consistent with the client’s brand. Hence, on the signs, we used the name, the logo, and the color scheme used by the client on various platforms. However, we made sure the size of the signs differed, depending upon where they were going to be placed and the purpose they would serve. The size of the smallest sign was 12 inches by 12 inches, while that of the biggest sign was 48 inches by 36 inches.

The project was a success, and it went exactly how we expected it to go. Moreover, the client was extremely happy with the final product as the signs were in perfect accordance with their guidelines.
