They wanted us to make a sign at their facility with multiple fields. Initially, it seemed challenging, but taking challenges is what makes us what we are.  Little League Baseball  Baseball is one of the most popular sports in the US, not only on the national or state level but also in schools and colleges. First held in 1947, the Little League Baseball has come a long way to become a much anticipated annual sporting event. As the name suggests, the little league brings in children together to compete for sporting supremacy.  Exterior Building Signs  In this project, the objective was to come up with prominent, catchy and readable exterior building signs. For a company like ours that handles such projects daily, this was a piece of cake. However, considering the client we were working for, we couldn’t take it lightly. The South Windsor Little League’s facility has several baseball fields. We had to create exterior signs for their main building at their facility. The big multipurpose building is home to several storage areas, restrooms and a concession stand. The sign, on the other hand, was to be designed in such a way that it was visible to people if they were viewing it from the parking area. This is where the fun began.   To increase their visibility, we kept the signs dimensional. The main panel was formed with PVC, the thickness of which was ¾ inches. The letters we chose to use were black. The fun part about these letters was the gold faces we used. The size of each black letter with gold was ½ inches. To keep our signs as relevant as possible, the colors chosen for the panels were the same colors the South Windsor team wears in their matches. Overall Dimensions As discussed above, the exterior building sign needed to be big and prominent to be seen perfectly from the parking area. Therefore the overall dimensions of the sign were 16 feet by 12 inches. This size allowed the sign to be visible from anywhere in the parking lot as well as from the nearby street. Working for the South Windsor Little League was a unique experience. We got the chance to hang out with some of the finest baseball players on the block, as well as the upcoming talent.
