Recently, we were approached by Wolters Kluwer for some business signs. Established in 1836 as a reputable publications company, Wolters Kluwer currently specializes in information services regarding risk, audit, accounting, healthcare, and business. Furthermore, this company deals with workflow tools, as well as software services. Our signs project for Wolters Kluwer included making signs for conference rooms, offices, department signs, and creating eye-catching logos. Initially, working for a big company such as Wolters Kluwer was overwhelming and challenging, but it was worth taking a risk, so we stepped in.  Office and Conference Rooms Names  The most fun thing about working for Wolters Kluwer was the names they had for offices and conference rooms. That’s right, we were asked to name conference rooms and office after towns and cities. We loved the idea, for it adds a fun element to an otherwise monotonous and bland, 9 to 5 corporate setup. Such small changes not only add extra flavor to one’s workplace, but they also keep the workers charged and have a positive impact on their mood. For offices, we used flag signs, which were mounted on the walls. The dimensions of these flag signs were 20 inches by 3 inches, which was excellent. Flag signs this size can be seen from afar and can also be read by people with imperfect eyesight. The best part about these flag signs is that they help outsiders find their way especially when they are visiting the office, for the very first time.  Department Signs Next up, we started working on the department signs. Each of the different department also needed signs to help identify their location withing their office space, but the color and dimension requirements for these were different from the ones in the offices and conference rooms. To color the department signs, we used a red background sampled from their logo. The Wolters Kluwer logo is prominently displayed on each sign that identified each of their departments. In the department signs, we installed them using a cable suspension system with decorative brushed aluminum mounts. By mounting the signs this way they can be seen from across the open floor space.  These two are seen everywhere and have gotten hackneyed, with time. We were nervous at first working for a market leader such as Wolters Kluwer. Fortunately, they were amazed at the final product, as well as the sheer dedication shown by our professionals, throughout the project.
