Springfield, MA – Replace your old sign for a fresh new look | Sign Company News

BY: Greg Ghezzi, G-Force Signs & Graphics

Over time there can be many reasons to replace your existing signs.  Sometimes it’s because your company has re-branded and you need to update your sign to match.  Other times the sign has reached the end of its lifespan or due to unfortunate circumstances it has become damaged.

BellSimons in Springfield, MA, was looking for a sign update. Their existing building sign was from before they re-branded and hadn’t been updated.  Additionally the sign had reached the end of its life. The paint had faded and the structure was starting to fail.

New Look Requires a New Sign

Over time your company can change and adapt with current trends.  Many times these changes can impact how your company is branded. These changes can mean updates to many elements that represent your company whether its colors, design elements, company logo, etc. It is important to unity within your brand to best represent your company to your clients.

After changing their logo and the content included with it, BellSimons needed an updated sign for their building.  This replacement would have the same logo that was already represented on their vehicle fleet and on signage at other locations that the company has.

When The Sign Shows It’s Age

Being outside will take its toll on signage. UV Rays from the sun, weather conditions, and debris from nearby traffic can all wear down the appearance of a sign over time. Additionally, a damaged sign can be an eyesore, or even dangerous and should be taken care of as soon as possible.

The existing sign at BellSimons was at the end of its life. The paint was fading and there was damage to the sign in a few places.  This was not an ideal way to represent your company. BellSimons made the right decision when they chose to contact us for a new sign. The new look was consistent with the current brand guidelines and it brought a refreshed look to the building.
