With school starting in the next few weeks, administrators are finishing up their summer projects as they get ready for the 2019-2020 school year.  Kennedy School in Schiller Park, near Chicago’s O’Hare Airport is no different.  With a first day of school coming up on August 12, many of the summer projects are finishing up.  This includes the parking lot being repaved, land scaping being manicured, new cafeteria floor being laid, and the refreshing of the gymnasium. The gymnasium went through a major update this summer.  This included paint and design work along with a new high-tech wooden floor.  So when we were approached by the flooring company to complete the logo floor graphics we couldn’t wait. This was exciting project as you were able to see the “wow” moments from many of the school administrators. I’m just sorry that we won’t be able to see the kids faces when they see their new gym. The project consisted of placing a whimsical picture of their logo the Kubbie bear at center court along with “Kennedy School” along the top arc and “Kubbies” along the bottom arc. The difficult area of this project was to ensure the words followed the arc correctly.  More importantly we had to ensure that the logo fit within the center circle.  We were fortunate it did as the circle was painted prior to us coming for the install and it wasn’t on the plans we were working with.   Call us for all your back to school graphic needs including floor graphics, banners, and welcome back signs.
