Drunk Driver Sentenced to Seven Years. An Orange County man, 21 year sof age, was convicted of drunk driving which resulted in the death of an individual.  He was sentenced to seven years in prison according to the office of the district attorney. The facts indicate that on March 6, Rigoberto Mendozamora was operating his vehicle at a high rate of speed on Pacific Coast Highway.  At about 2:45 a.m., he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree, killing his passenger, 24 year-old Jesus Avalos-Munguia.  When authorities arrived, it was apparent that Mr. Mendozamora was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage due to his speech being slurred and his balance impaired. When police arrived, they found Mendozamora slurring his speech and struggling to keep his balance, authorities said.
