At San Jose Signs, we work with local companies, as well as international companies too, helping them with all of their signage and branding needs. We’re a full service custom sign and graphic design company located in Santa Clara, California, and we serve clients across the United States, as well as international clients too.
Recently, we received a call from Ingrasys, a computer technology company located in Asia. From their website, “Ingrasys Technology Inc., founded in February 2002, is a global leading developer in the network computing technologies. Headquartered in Taoyuan, Taiwan, the company has presently more than 150 employees worldwide.” They called us because they needed a lobby sign made for their Santa Clara location.
Since the company is based in Asia, this process took much longer than usual. Typically, our turnaround time on all our signs is above the industry standard. But when dealing overseas, and having to get numerous edits and decisions approved by corporate, it obviously slows down the process quite a bit. In the end, it took a few months for the entire project to get done, from start to finish.
The lobby sign we made for them, which you can see in the image above, is made from ½” thick acrylic, which was painted with custom colors and installed on the wall with double sided tape. These types of lobby signs can be made from an assortment of different materials, different techniques, and different mounting hardware. Pricing can range from a simple, clean, and affordable design, all the way up to very expensive, fancy, and elaborate designs built with high-end materials, including using precious metals.
