Recently, we were called upon by a professional dog grooming service company in San Jose, CA named Ken’s Dog Grooming Salon. Ken Gelfand, the owner of Ken’s Dog Grooming Salon, found us online and ordered a business sign for the exterior of his building. You can see an example of this sign in the image above. It’s an illuminated channel letter sign that looks great and is easy to see from far away, whether it’s day or night.
Illuminated signs, especially for companies that are open at night or in the early evening, are absolutely superior to standard non-lit signs. It used to be that illuminated signs were fairly expensive to run and maintain. However, with advances in LED lighting, not only do LED lit signs shine brighter, and better catch your prospect’s attention, they also operate at a fraction of the cost and last significantly longer.
There was one particularly tricky thing about this project. If you look closely in the image above, you can see that the roof, or fascia, where the sign is installed, is on an angle. To ensure that the sign was installed perfectly upright and straight, we installed a custom raceway behind it. In the end, the sign turned out great, and Ken was so happy with his new sign that he called us back for window graphics too.
