Recently, we put together a sign package for the Mathnasium, a math learning center located in San Jose, CA. In the image above is one of the signs that we installed at their location. It’s an illuminated exterior LED sign, and it’s a great example of the sign with great design elements and eye-catching features. In addition to this exterior sign, we also made A-frame signs, channel letters and window graphics, completing a sign package that carries their branding throughout their store.
It’s important to think of your signage in a more general fashion, and seen more as your branding. The typical ‘sign above your store’ is one piece of your very important branding puzzle. It’s important to carry your brand all the way from your work vehicles, to the outside of your store location, your lobby sign, and all the way down to your business cards.
When installing signs, it’s not always ‘smooth sailing.’ There were some hiccups during the process, due to structural issues within the building, but we made it work. We were able to get the design approved by the corporate offices and the landlord, as well as pull the necessary permits from the city.
