The legendary Rob Welsh has been a part of Lakai since our early days, from filming infamous video parts and touring the world with Rick and Mike, to working for the brand as a sales rep. Arguably one of the most influential skaters of his time, Rob has left an undeniable mark on San Francisco and most notably, the famous Pier 7.
The Telford Low is another iconic heritage model, brought back to our line by popular demand. A straight take-down of the high, built on our durable XLK cupsole with “pod” tread grip. Lightweight, flexible and comfortable right out of the box. Timeless silhouette designed for skateboarding. This model was made to pay homage to veteran Lakai pro Rob Welsh, with custom heel tags, and side panel branding.

Sole –Cupsole – Durable and shock-absorbing to provide the best impact protection against hard landings. Cupsoles generally last longer than a vulcanized sole but don’t provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.
