The list was strong, the line up was heavy, but the voting has been cast, the people have spoken and the winner has been named for Thrasher Mags Skater of the year 2021…. Mr Mark Suciu!!!! 

The 29 year old has been on a true terror this year, fancy feet and heavy bangers had his filmers collecting footage and compiling the best of the best for a calculated footage monsoon right up to the voting booths. 4 heavy parts back to back, including Mark Suciu’s part for Spitfire Wheels, in which Deluxe Distribution decided that their top-seeded professional skateboarder should have his own part instead of being included in the team video. As if parts for Adidas and Habitat weren’t enough icing on his preverbal cake, Mark gently lays another hammer down with his tech wizardry and command over all his trucks can touch with his part in Justin’s Albert’s new series “Flora”.

Mark Suciu has been in the running for years and has finally made the mountain top. His name will be cemented with only a select few who have managed to wear the crown and call themselves the king for the year. Mark is one who will be legendary for all of time. There are some tricks that just won’t be done again. With an undeniable style and trick selection, Mark Suciu will forever be on the list of greatest skateboarders of all time, and at only 29 years old, we can’t wait to see what the future holds! Congrats Mark, well deserved and well earned.
