Founded on the 1st of January in 2002, Ricta skateboard wheels was birthed in the Flip Skateboards camp. Created by Jeremy Fox and Ian Deacon, they wanted to bring a new look and fresh technology to stagnant skateboard wheel design.
Ricta Wheels is now a top selling skateboard wheel company from the awesome people at NHS Inc. NHS which houses skateboard brand giants including Santa Cruz, Independent Trucks, OJ & Slimeballs wheels. NHS claim they are
the Leader in “Speed Reinvented” Wheel Technology. Ricta Wheels are made with “NRG” Hi-Energy Urethane Formula. Claiming to be hands down the fastest non-cored wheel in skateboarding! Pro tested and proven more flat spot resistant than any other wheel on the market, states their website, but you can be the judge on your own. Wheel style and durability is a highly debated topic in the skate world and realistically it comes down to your own personal preference. Whatever your preference is, Ricta seems to have a wheel for you! They have three basic Ricta Wheel Shapes they offer across their range of wheels.
