and valley, set the back foot up on the tail and give it a twist to make sure that tre will flick smoothly. Make your decision, grip it up and get to shredding.
This is something that every skater can relate with. When buying your next board there is a certain comfort you need, a 
reassurance of sorts, to know that your board will pop to the height you want and flick where need it to. You can only get that through stepping on it and feeling the board from nose to tail. Even if you have skated that same board before, there will always be slight variances in each deck. No two boards will ever be the same. (In my opinion) When you stack multiple decks in a press, most shapes will be very similar but in some cases there can be noticeable differences.
Some schools of thought will dismiss my claims, they can state that it really does not matter and you can just get used to each deck as you skate it. I can agree with that. But feeling out each deck is not the only point. When you buy a skateboard deck on-line you take one step closer to the local skate shop not being available to you. If the shops are not available then how will you feel out a board before you buy??!
