An ankle sprain is due to the rolling of the foot misaligning the joints, and over stretching of the ligaments, an adjustment corrects the alignment of the bones, and joints reducing ligament strain, and speedy recovery.  The ankle injury may result in rotating the knee, and hip which can cause lower back pain eventually, or lower back pain may be caused from a misalignment of the knee and foot.
